In 2006, Falcon decided that we wanted to do something to recognize and help other organizations. We produced The Guys as a tribute to the firefighters who lost their lives on September 11 and donated a portion of the proceeds to the Newport Fire Department. It was an incredibly rewarding experience for us and in 2009 we tried it again…this time with The Vagina Monologues and an association with Women’s Crisis Center.
In 2012 we’re doing it again, this time through Project Linus and our production of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
We feel remarkably blessed at Falcon to be able to do what we love and to entertain so many others at the same time. But through Falcon Give Back, we have an even greater opportunity to help those in need through our art. In just a few years, we’ve raised some money and awareness for some great organizations and we are thankful for the chance to use our passion to help fuel the compassion of others who are doing good work.
