Falcon is proud to announce the title of the last show of our 2012-2013 season! We’ve been waiting all year to find the perfect title to wrap up the season and we finally have it.

Falcon will present Duck Hunter Shoots Angel by Mitch Albom. Recently off some very successful runs across the country run, Duck Hunter Shoots Angel is a big comedy with a huge heart. Written by the author of Tuesdays With Morrie and The Five People You Meet In Heaven and still the highest grossing show to play at Jeff Daniel’s Purple Rose Theatre Company where it premiered, viagra order Duck Hunter is about 2 bumbling Alabama duck hunters who think they’ve shot an angel instead. The story finds its way to the offices of a New York tabloid newspaper and the comedy blossoms from there.

Hailed as “an outrageous comedy with a heartfelt message, ailment ” Duck Hunter Shoots Angel is written with crisp, captivating dialog that will both entertain and move audiences.

SYNOPSIS: When she’s cast as the “last girl” in a low-budget slasher flick, Sheena thinks it’s the big break she’s been waiting for. But news of the movie unleashes her malingering, manipulative mother’s thwarted feminist rage, and Mom is prepared to do anything to stop filming—even if it kills her.

CHARACTERS:

Sheena McKinney: Early to mid-20’s; girl next-door type. Not book smart but a survivor. She is cast as the “last girl” in a low-budget slasher film.

Hildy McKinney: 14-18: Sheena’s younger sister; she is smarter than Sheena but less capable in a crisis.

Frances McKinney: 42-50, Sheena and Hildy’s mother; she is a loud, angry, thwarted feminist with a questionable disability.  She gets around the house with the help of her Li’l Rascal Scooter.

Marc Hunter: 30-40, a D-list film director and recovering alcoholic and sex addict. Tells everyone he’s younger than he is.

Jody Joshi: Early to mid-20’s; an undergrad film school dude. Capable, knows his stuff but he is kind of a kiss-ass.

Christi Garcia: 30’s, Assistant Director of the Holy Shepherd Justice League. Very put together, as if she’s always ready to make a statement on camera. Not to be underestimated. This same actress also plays or voices the following roles: Woman/Car Hop/Radio Announcer/News Anchor

Bridget/Marcy/Beth/Madison: One actress will play all the other young women who are killed in various ways throughout the filming of the slasher film.
