Meet Falcon

Ted Weil
Artistic Director
Ted is one of the co-founders of Falcon  and has been directing and acting with the organization for 25 years.  He, along with Dave Radtke started Falcon in order to broaden the range of theatrical opportunities in the Greater Cincinnati area.  Since 1989 he has performed in almost every capacity with various productions at Falcon including design, direction, acting, technical design and execution and production.

Julie Niesen
Board Member
Director, Marketing

Julie Niesen has been a member of the Falcon Board since 2007, and involved with the company since 2004.  She previously served as Costumer, and now heads up social media marketing initiatives for Falcon.  Her broad experience in marketing, branding and social media help promote Falcon and its mission in new, exciting ways.

Alecia Lewkowich
Board Member
Education Director, Grants Coordinator

Alecia Lewkowich has taught theatre and science and directed plays the high school level for the past 11 years. She holds a B.A. in Theatre and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Dayton, a M.Ed from the University of Cincinnati and a M.A. in Theatre Directing from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her focus is educational theatre, dramaturgy and properties acquisition.

Carrie Mees
Board Member
Involved in theater since she could walk and talk, Carrie has acted, designed and built sets, dressed stages and actors, directed and stage managed, and designed and run lights for various theatre companies. With a broad background in business operations, sales and marketing, from family businesses through large international corporations, Carrie is honored to be able to utilize her learnings to help advance the mission of Falcon.  Over the years Carrie has served on several boards, including community theatre groups and the local chapter of the American Diabetes Association.

Monika Royal-Fischer
Board Member
Monika Royal-Fischer has been a member of the Falcon Board since 2012. Monika has a broad background in advertising, recruiting and talent management. Currently, she heads up career strategy at Gateway Community & Technical College. She has previously served on the board of The Carnegie, and currently sits on the board with the Cincinnati Symphony Volunteer Association. A life-long theater goer, Monika lends her talents to Falcon’s design and web initiatives. 

Clint Ibele
Board Member
Clint has been involved with Falcon off and on since 2001 in various capacities, including props, box office, lighting and sound execution, acting, and assistant directing.  He has been instrumental in fostering a new partnership with the Campbell County Library,  which has lead to directing staged readings for the Library’s Signature Series, New Richmond, OH Historical Society and the Cincinnati Museum Center.  He will also be heading up Falcon’s new Falcon Takes Flight outreach program.

Holly Sauerbrunn

Holly Sauerbrunn has been involved in Falcon since its premiere production of BEYOND THERAPY in 1989.  During the years she has served in various capacities on various productions, including performing, costuming, props, assistant directing and co-directing.  Holly has also been a member of Falcon’s board of directors since its inception.  Currently, Holly manages direct ticket sales for all productions.  Holly holds an MA in English Literature from Indiana University and also currently serves as Falcon’s resident dramaturge.

Tracy Schoster

Patron Manager, House Manager
Tracy has been affiliated with Falcon since 1991 when she received an invitation from co-founder Dave Radtke to fill a last minute vacancy in a show.  She has been part of the Falcon family ever since. A marketing professional by trade, Tracy also volunteers for various non-profit organizations in the Greater Cincinnati area, including Habitat for Humanity, The American Cancer Society and the Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.  Tracy’s background and experience are great assets to many aspects of Falcon operations.

Ron Cropper
Board Member, In Absentia
Legal Consultant
Ron has served on the Board since 2003.  In 2010, Ron relocated to New Orleans but has remained a member of Falcon’s leadership team through his legal council and business acumen.   Ron’s background in non-profit development initiatives has been instrumental to Falcon over the years.
