2013-2014 Season

As we embark on our 2013-2014 season I am filled with a feeling of excitement about what’s to come.  This past year has seen some amazing things at Falcon including the beginning of our first capital campaign, our first full season as the managing entity of the Monmouth Theatre space and overwhelming critical praise for our work including 10 League of Cincinnati Theatre award nominations.  Building on all of that, 2013-2014 is a season that will start with great momentum.

This season starts off with the area premiere of Slasher, a comedy spoof of the low-budget horror genre.  After 5 seasons of visiting Bedford Falls for the holidays, we have something completely new…Striking 12, a musical by Groove Lily that draws inspiration from The Little Match Girl.  In February, we will produce the regional premiere of the gripping and funny recent Broadway hit Seminar. We continue our tradition of offering top-notch classical theatre with One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.  And we round out the season with the outrageous tabloid entertainment, Bat Boy The Musical.

We began our Riser Raiser capital campaign last year and the support has been truly inspiring.  We expect to complete out fund raising efforts late this summer or early fall and will begin work on a complete redesign of our audience environment.  This season will see new seats, better lighting and a beautifully designed audience seating area.

Finally, I’m especially proud of our Patron Program and the amazing growth it has experienced over the past few years.  Every patron who supports Falcon is a vote of confidence in the work we do.  We are truly humbled that so many people believe in our vision.

I am extremely excited about this season and invite you to come join us again this year.  Our audiences are what makes everything we do possible.  Your support inspires us and continues to nourish our Passion For Performance.
